The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting 1/2024 was held at 12 : 30 pm on 30th January 2024 at Yangon Region Investment Committee in Yangon Office and attended by Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee U Soe Thein, Chief Minister for the Yangon Region Government and Members of the Yangon Region Investment Committee.
At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee had approved (7) wholly foreign owned investment businesses and (1) joint venture business including manufacturing of wearing apparel on CMP basis, manufacturing of various kind of plastic bags for local enterprises( 100% local sale), manufacturing of finished rubber products (100 % export) and manufacturing and sales of carton boxes (100 % local sale) .
Those investments are approved with the total capital amount of USD 6.399 Million and 6,551 local job opportunities can be created.
Moreover, in this meeting, discussed about the general issues of seven companies.
