The team inspected operating condition of businesses, implementing condition of the responsibilities of investors and coordinated the needs of the factory.

6/2025 Yangon Region Investment Committee Meeting

The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting 6/2025 was held at 09 : 00 am on 25th June 2025 at Yangon Region Investment Committee in Yangon Office and attended by Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee U Soe Thein, Chief Minister for the Yangon Region Government and Members of the Yangon Region Investment Committee.
At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee had approved (8) foreign Investment businesses in the manufacturing sector including manufacturing of wearing apparel and garment on CMP basis.These investments are approved with the total capital amount of USD 7.791 Million (united state dollars seven million and seven hundred ninety one thousand only) and 6,773 local job opportunities can be created. Moreover, in this meeting, discussed about the general issues of the ten companies.

5/2025 Yangon Region Investment Committee Meeting

The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting 5/2025 was held at 09 : 00 am on 28th May 2025 at Yangon Region Investment Committee in Yangon Office and attended by Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee U Soe Thein, Chief Minister for the Yangon Region Government and Members of the Yangon Region Investment Committee. At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee had approved (2) Myanmar citizen investment and (1) foreign Investment businesses in the hotel & tourism sector and manufacturing sector including motel services, hotel services and manufacturing of garment on CMP basis.

These investments are approved with the total capital amount of kyat 6,613.250 Million (kyat sixty six hundred thirteen million and two hundred fifty thousand only) and USD 0.866 Million (united state dollars eight hundred sixty six thousand only) and 1,220 local job opportunities can be created.

Moreover, the meeting was discussed general issues of fourteen companies. Among then, the company that will increase local job opportunities for 2,500 people.

The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting 4/2025 was held at 09:00 am on 25th April 2025 at Yangon Region Investment Committee in Yangon Office and attended by Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee U Soe Thein, Chief Minister for the Yangon Region Government and Members of the Yangon Region Investment Committee.

At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee had approved (2) foreign Investment businesses in the manufacturing sector including manufacturing of wearing apparel on CMP basis and production and distribution of various kinds of wood veneer & furniture (20% exports and 80% local sales).These investments are approved with the total capital amount of USD 1.577 Million (united state dollars one million and five hundred seventy-seven thousand only) and 1,005 local job opportunities can be created. Moreover, the meeting was discussed general issues of twelve companies. Among then, three companies increased investment capital.
