The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting 3/2024 was held at 08 : 00 am on 22nd March 2024 at Yangon Region Investment Committee in Yangon Office and attended by Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee U Soe Thein, Chief Minister for the Yangon Region Government and Members of the Yangon Region Investment Committee.
At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee had approved (1) Wholly Myanmar Citizen Owned investment business in Hotel Service, (3) Wholly Myanmar Citizen Owned investment businesses and (4) Foreign Investment and (2) joint venture businesses in Industrial Sector including Hotel Service, manufacturing and selling of construction materials (PVC Pipes and HDPE Pipes), Manufacturing of Garment on CMP Basis, Marketing and Selling of Energy Drink (100% Local Sales), Manufacturing of Bridal and Accessories on CMP Basis, Manufacturing of all Kinds of watch straps & small leather goods with accessories on CMP basis, Manufacturing of Consumer Items (100% Export) and Manufacturing and Selling of Various Kinds of Plastic Bottle (100% Local Sales). Those investments are approved with the total capital amount of 8,036.659 MMK Million and USD 9.046 Million and 2,843 local job opportunities can be created.
Moreover, in this meeting, discussed about the increase in the capital amount and the general issues of the twelve companies.
