Facilitation of Investment and Industrial Linkage 2024 of Yangon Region Investment Committee led by Yangon Region Government and Yangon Region Investment Committee, held at Wyndham Grand Yangon Hotel on 12th March 2024.
At the event, Chief Minister of Yangon Region Government, Chairman of Yangon Region Investment Committee, U Soe Thein and members of the Yangon Region Government, Director General of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, U Thant Sin Lwin and Deputy Director General, Vice President of Committee for the Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, distinguished guests, governmental officials from related Ministries and over 272 attendees were attended.
In the morning session of the event, Chief Minister of Yangon Region Government, Chairman of Yangon Region Investment Committee, U Soe Thein delivered keynote speech and Director General of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, U Thant Sin Lwin delivered speech about the investment affairs of the Yangon Region. Subsequently, Secretary of Yangon Region Investment Committee, Director of Yangon Region Office, U Myo Khaing Oo explained about the “The Investment Facilitation of Yangon Region Investment Committee” with presentation slides.
In addition, in “Facilitating Investment in Yangon Region” panel discussion, Director of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, Daw Phyo Pwint Han, Assistant Director of Department of Trade, U Win Ko, Chief Business Banking Officer of Yoma Bank, Mr. Gerald Loh, Director of Myantex Industrial Co., Ltd. and Myanto Industrial Co., Ltd., Mr. Guo Zhengshui, Director of Yangon Nadia Pacific Clothing Co., Ltd, Mr. Kim Tae Hyun are discussed. In “Industrial Linkage in Yangon Region” Panel Discussion, Director of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, Daw Khin Ohnmar Aung, Director of Directorate of Industry Supervision, and Inspection, U Thein Swe, Joint Secretary General of Myanmar Industries Association, U Ko Lay, President of Wedtex Group, Mr. Jack Wang, Executive Manager of Hansae Myanmar Co., Ltd., Mr. Mun Jun Ho are discussed and Director of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, Dr. Wanna Aung was a moderator for panel discussions.
Economic Minister of Yangon Region Government, Member of Yangon Region Investment Committee, U Myo Myint Aung delivered closing remark. The event successfully finished at 14:00 pm. After finishing the event, all distinguished guests joined the Buffet Business Networking Lunch Session.
