Yangon Region Investment Monitoring Team conducted a field inspection on the manufacturing and marketing of shoes (100 % local sales) under Yangon Region Investment Committee endorsement at Dagon Myothit (South) Township, in Yangon Region on 20th March, 2024. The team inspected the commencement of commercial operation, operating condition of businesses, fire prevention and fire insurance conditions and coordinated the needs of the factory.

၁။ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှုကော်မရှင်၊ တစ်နေရာတည်း၌ တစ်စုတစ်စည်းတည်း အလုံးစုံ ဝန်ဆောင်မှုပေးခြင်း ဆောင်ရွက်သည့်လုပ်ငန်းအဖွဲ့၊ ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှုနှင့် ကုမ္ပဏီများညွှန်ကြားမှု ဦးစီးဌာန၊ ရန်ကုန်တိုင်းဒေသကြီးဦးစီးမှူးရုံး၏ MIC Permitted Companies Online VISA Application System (MOVAS) ကို ၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ် အောက်တိုဘာလ ၁ ရက်နေ့မှစ၍ Online စနစ်ဖြင့် စတင်ဝန်ဆောင်မှုပေးခဲ့ပြီး ယခုအခါတွင် လက်ရှိအသုံးပြုနေသော Web Hosting အား ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ် မတ်လ ၂၃ ရက်နေ့မှ မတ်လ ၂၇ ရက်နေ့အတွင်း နေရာပြောင်းရွှေ့ခြင်း ဆောင်ရွက်မည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

၂။ သို့ဖြစ်ပါ၍ Web Hosting နေရာပြောင်းရွှေ့ခြင်းအား ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ် မတ်လ ၂၃ ရက်နေ့မှ မတ်လ ၂၇ ရက်နေ့အတွင်း ဆောင်ရွက်မည်ဖြစ်ပါကြောင်းနှင့် ဖော်ပြပါ ၅ ရက်တာ အချိန်အတွင်း၌ MOVAS System အသုံးပြုခြင်းအား ခေတ္တရပ်နားထားမည်ဖြစ်ပါကြောင်း အသိပေးကြေညာအပ် ပါသည်။

Yangon Region Investment Monitoring Team conducted a field inspection on the manufacturing and selling of carton boxes (100 % local sales), manufacturing of various kinds of garment on CMP basis, manufacturing of shoes and semi shoes on CMP basis, manufacturing of various kinds of inflatable products on CMP Basis, manufacturing of various kinds of sporting goods on CMP basis under Yangon Region Investment Committee endorsement at Htantabin Township, in Yangon Region on 19th March, 2024. The team inspected the commencement of commercial operation, operating condition of businesses, fire prevention and fire insurance conditions and coordinated the needs of the factory.

Facilitation of Investment and Industrial Linkage 2024 of Yangon Region Investment Committee led by Yangon Region Government and Yangon Region Investment Committee, held at Wyndham Grand Yangon Hotel on 12th March 2024.

At the event, Chief Minister of Yangon Region Government, Chairman of Yangon Region Investment Committee, U Soe Thein and members of the Yangon Region Government, Director General of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, U Thant Sin Lwin and Deputy Director General, Vice President of Committee for the Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, distinguished guests, governmental officials from related Ministries and over 272 attendees were attended. 

In the morning session of the event, Chief Minister of Yangon Region Government, Chairman of Yangon Region Investment Committee, U Soe Thein delivered keynote speech and Director General of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, U Thant Sin Lwin delivered speech about the investment affairs of the Yangon Region. Subsequently, Secretary of Yangon Region Investment Committee, Director of Yangon Region Office, U Myo Khaing Oo explained about the “The Investment Facilitation of Yangon Region Investment Committee” with presentation slides. 

In addition, in “Facilitating Investment in Yangon Region” panel discussion, Director of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, Daw Phyo Pwint Han, Assistant Director of Department of Trade, U Win Ko, Chief Business Banking Officer of Yoma Bank, Mr. Gerald Loh, Director of Myantex Industrial Co., Ltd. and Myanto Industrial Co., Ltd., Mr. Guo Zhengshui, Director of Yangon Nadia Pacific Clothing Co., Ltd, Mr. Kim Tae Hyun are discussed. In “Industrial Linkage in Yangon Region” Panel Discussion, Director of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, Daw Khin Ohnmar Aung, Director of Directorate of Industry Supervision, and Inspection, U Thein Swe, Joint Secretary General of Myanmar Industries Association, U Ko Lay, President of Wedtex Group, Mr. Jack Wang, Executive Manager of Hansae Myanmar Co., Ltd., Mr. Mun Jun Ho are discussed and Director of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, Dr. Wanna Aung was a moderator for panel discussions.

Economic Minister of Yangon Region Government, Member of Yangon Region Investment Committee, U Myo Myint Aung delivered closing remark. The event successfully finished at 14:00 pm. After finishing the event, all distinguished guests joined the Buffet Business Networking Lunch Session.

Yangon Region Investment Monitoring Team conducted a field inspection on the manufacturing of various kinds of garment on CMP basis, manufacturing of high quality poly resin, cold cast, bronze, pewter and porcelain figurines and collectibles by using high quality poly resin on CMP basis, manufacturing of wearing apparel on CMP basis, assembling, manufacturing and distribution of three wheeler vehicles under semi knocked – down (SKD) under Yangon Region Investment Committee endorsement at Hlaing Thar Yar Township, in Yangon Region on 27, February, 2024. The team inspected the commencement of commercial operation, operating condition of businesses, fire prevention and fire insurance conditions and coordinated the needs of the factory.

2/2024 – Yangon Region Investment Committee Meeting

February 24, 2024

The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting 2/2024 was held at 8:30 am on 21st February 2024 at Yangon Region Investment Committee in Yangon Office and attended by Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee U Soe Thein, Chief Minister for the Yangon Region Government and Members of the Yangon Region Investment Committee.

At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee had approved (3) Wholly Myanmar Citizen Owned investment businesses and (1) joint venture business including Hotel Services, manufacturing and selling of construction materials (100% local sales) and milling, processing, exporting and distribution of various kinds of rice (85% Export and 15% local sales).

Those investments are approved with the total capital amount of 9,151.800 MMK Million and USD 0.704 Million and 94 local job opportunities can be created.

Moreover, in this meeting, discussed about the increase in the capital amount and the general issues of the eight companies.

The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting 1/2024 was held at 12 : 30 pm on 30th January 2024 at Yangon Region Investment Committee in Yangon Office and attended by Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee U Soe Thein, Chief Minister for the Yangon Region Government and Members of the Yangon Region Investment Committee.
At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee had approved (7) wholly foreign owned investment businesses and (1) joint venture business including manufacturing of wearing apparel on CMP basis, manufacturing of various kind of plastic bags for local enterprises( 100% local sale), manufacturing of finished rubber products (100 % export) and manufacturing and sales of carton boxes (100 % local sale) .
Those investments are approved with the total capital amount of USD 6.399 Million and 6,551 local job opportunities can be created.
Moreover, in this meeting, discussed about the general issues of seven companies.

Yangon Region Investment Committee Meeting 7/2023

The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting 7/2023, Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee U Soe Thein, Chief Minister for the Yangon Region Government, held at 9 : 00 am on 26th July 2023 at Yangon Region Investment Committee in Yangon Office and was attended, by Members of the Yangon Region Investment Committee.
At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee had already approved one Myanmar Citizen investment business with the total capital amount of Kyat 5970.239 million in the Services sector . The endorsed investment project is hotel business.
Those approved one business are expected to create 617 local job opportunities.
Moreover, in this meeting, discussed the about of general issue, including one business that will create 1802 local job opportunities of five companies.

The team inspected the commencement of commercial operation, operating condition of businesses and coordinated the needs of the factory.

At the meeting, to enhance the production of solar energy electricity investment and to facilitate the investment activities are discussed and total (50) investors attended the meeting.
