Yangon Region Investment Monitoring Team conducted a field inspection on the Manufacturing of various kinds of Garment on CMP basis for the Production Companies under Yangon Region Investment Committee endorsement and Production and Exportation of Value Added Rubber Conformity with International Standard Quality Companies which are applying a proposal for the endorsement at Shwe Pyi Thar Township and Hlaing Thar Yar (West) Township, in Yangon Region on 5th September,2024. The team inspected the commencement of commercial operation, operating condition of businesses, implementing condition of the responsibilities of investors and coordinated the needs of the factory.

The team inspected operating condition of businesses, implementing condition of the responsibilities of investors and coordinated the needs of the factory.

The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting 8/2024 was held at 09:00 am on 16th August 2024 at Yangon Region Investment Committee in Yangon Office and attended by Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee U Soe Thein, Chief Minister for the Yangon Region Government and Members of the Yangon Region Investment Committee.

At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee had approved (1) wholly foreign owned Investment business in manufacturing Sector including Manufacturing of Garments on CMP Basis.

This investment are approved with the total capital amount of USD 0.600 Million and 710 local job opportunities can be created. Moreover, in this meeting, discussed about the general issues of the ten companies.

At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee had approved (1) wholly Myanmar Owned investment businesses in Hotel Services Sector and (3) wholly foreign owned Investment businesses in Industrial Sector including Manufacturing of Garments on CMP Basis and Manufacturing of Various Kinds of wearing apparel on CMP Basis. Those investments are approved with the total capital amount of 1,210.000 MMK Million and USD 2.704 Million and 1,491 local job opportunities can be created.

Moreover, in this meeting, discussed about the general issues of the fourteen companies.
