The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting 5/2025 was held at 09 : 00 am on 28th May 2025 at Yangon Region Investment Committee in Yangon Office and attended by Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee U Soe Thein, Chief Minister for the Yangon Region Government and Members of the Yangon Region Investment Committee. At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee had approved (2) Myanmar citizen investment and (1) foreign Investment businesses in the hotel & tourism sector and manufacturing sector including motel services, hotel services and manufacturing of garment on CMP basis.
These investments are approved with the total capital amount of kyat 6,613.250 Million (kyat sixty six hundred thirteen million and two hundred fifty thousand only) and USD 0.866 Million (united state dollars eight hundred sixty six thousand only) and 1,220 local job opportunities can be created.
Moreover, the meeting was discussed general issues of fourteen companies. Among then, the company that will increase local job opportunities for 2,500 people.
