The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting 11/2024 was held at 10: 30 am on 26th November 2024 at Yangon Region Investment Committee in Yangon Office and attended by Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee U Soe Thein, Chief Minister for the Yangon Region Government and Members of the Yangon Region Investment Committee. At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee had approved (1) Myanmar citizen investment and (8) foreign Investment businesses in the manufacturing and services sector including manufacturing of wearing apparel on CMP basis, manufacturing and selling of construction material such as NS Grout, AquaCem 100, PatchEase, Gripmate Silver, Putty, Floor Hardener (100% local Sales), manufacturing of wool fiber and yarn on CMP basis, manufacturing of various kinds of hair wig on CMP basis, Manufacturing of garment on CMP basis, paper printing services and manufacturing of various kinds of plastic bags for Local enterprises (100 % local sales).This investment are approved with the total capital amount of kyat 1,500 million (kyat one thousand five hundred million) and USD 7.690 Million (united state dollars seven million and six hundred ninety thousand) and 5,255 local job opportunities can be created. Moreover, in this meeting, discussed about the general issues of the nine companies.
