The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting 9/2025 was held at 09:00 am on 24th September 2025 at Yangon Region Investment Committee in Yangon Office and attended by Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee U Soe Thein, Chief Minister for the Yangon Region Government and Members of the Yangon Region Investment Committee.
At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee had approved (5) Investments which are wholly Myanmar owned, wholly foreign owned and Joint venture Investment businesses in the hotel and tourism and manufacturing sector. They are hotel services, 100% export of grinding and manufacturing of various kinds of beans and sesames, 100% export of milling, polishing and production of rice products, manufacturing and selling of various kinds of mattress and foams and manufacturing of various kinds of wearing apparel on CMP basis. These investments are approved with the total capital amount of kyat 6,473.805 million (kyat six thousand four hundred and seventy-three million and eight hundred and five thousand only) and USD 4.693 Million (united state dollars four million six hundred and ninety-three thousand only) and 1,468 (one thousand four hundred and sixty eight) local job opportunities can be created.
Moreover, the meeting discussed general issues of 24 companies. Among them, the companies that will increase investment amount.
