In preparation for the New Myanmar Companies Law which will commerce on 1st August 2018, the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration discuss issues on preparation by the ministries as well as explained that the staffs who will handle these are already familiar with new law in order to solve the business owners difficulties. To smooth Online System Company registration, necessary changes were made in the internal configurations of department.
Companies Administration Department, in collaboration with the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry held the meeting on 23rd july 13:00 hrs at Federation Hall regarding Myanmar Companies Act 2017, and electronic company registration system MyCO. In order to familiar with Myanmar Companies Online (MyCO) system, explained and discussed about the new law rights, things to avoid and issues that might be faced by the business men when they practice the new system. This meeting has been attended by more than 900 interested business men.
U Zaw Min Win Chairman of the Union of Chambers of Commerce gave a welcome speech followed by U Aung Naing Oo Director-General of DICA explained the Law required for the companies and organization to follow. Also U Myo Min Director explained regarding the electronic company registration system MyCO and clarifies other necessary points as well. After that participant had raised questions and questions were answered by Director-General and Director U Myo Min.
Due to the time limit, some questions were unanswered and if participants want to know the answer they can write to the Federation. Federation will forward to the Department of the Directorate of Investment and Companies and reply will be displayed on both the department’s website and Facebook .
